She's SOOOOOOOOO gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!
I love her so much!!!!!
Her beautiful dress!!!! I made the necklace, it has the ship because in Samantha Saves The Day she likes to sail, there's a red shoe because in her Nighttime Necessities she has a copy of The Wizard Of Oz (you get it, ruby slippers), and a flower because it seemed kind of Edwardian!
Her beautiful curls! I have a problem though, I don't have a hair pick! Do you know of any way to keep her hair nice until I can get one from eBay?
Her hair bow!
And her pretty face!!!!!!!
I completely recommend Samantha, she's an absolutely gorgeous doll!!!
Personally I don't use my hairpick on either of my dolls 'cause I find it gives the same results as the brush. If you use a brush and finger curl the ends that should keep it nice :D
ReplyDeleteI don't have a brush either, but thanks!
DeleteShe's BEAUTIFUL! My friend has Samantha and she said you can use a brush on her. You just start at the bottom and work your way up, misting with water.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm a little nervous about misting her hair though, I've heard that some AG dolls hair gets kind of dry.
DeleteAwww, so cute. I just posted some tips on my blog about how to care for curly doll's hair (An AG employee told me)!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'll check them out!
DeleteYou can use a clean unused toothbrush and some water mixed w/ 2 tbls. of Downy in a spritz bottle. Spray each section, then curl the hair around your finger w/ the toothbrush.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any Downy! :(
DeleteShe's so cute! I would go on YouTube and look at Kathy's video how to curl her hair. I do that with my Ruthie
ReplyDeleteThanks! Ok, I might check it out :)
DeleteYou don't need to buy one on eBay, I can help you get a hair pick at the beauty supply store. :)
ReplyDeleteThere's a special kind you need, but thanks!
DeleteI would suggest just using your fingers and twirling the curls back into position. I saw above that you don't want to mist her hair, but I have a Samantha doll that I do it with all the time and it makes her hair look much better. I haven't had any problems with dry hair, just make sure you don't WET her hair. Just a little damp is perfect. Hope you like my tips! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that you got Samantha! I actually just got her to, but she's from a tag sale! I'm not really sure how to care for her hair though, because right now I'm just trying to fix it up.
